CO017: Conklin Symetrik Ballpoint, boxed.

A modern Conklin, this - it is now old-stock, and has never been used.  It is in pristine condition.  Conklin has revived a famous model in this ballpoint pen.  It is a large, chunky pen with a good heft, even though it is made mostly from resin.  It has that blunt torpedo shape of the classis Symetrik model.  The cap has the Conklin crescent at the top above the sprung Conklin pocket clip.  At the cap lip are two narrow chrome bands with the "Symetrik" imprint between them.  The barrel has a chrome plated cone.  This is a twist pen and the writing point is extended and retracted by twisting the cap.  It accepts Parker  style ballpoint refills which means you have a very wide choice of refill type from capless rollerball to gel to ballpoint- even the Fisher Space pen refills will fit.  The original gift box is covered in blue leatherette with a white satin lining.  The outer box is also supplied as is the guarantee card.
