The Emperor is produced in Namiki's Hiratsuka Japan Maki-e workshop,
where the finest Maki-e in the world is produced. Up to four months are
required to design and paint the meticulously crafted Emperor pens.
Several layers of urushi lacquer, gold, raden shell, and brilliantly
colored pigments are inlaid into the Emperor and burnished with
charcoal for a high sheen that complements the exquisite and
intricate details. With 18k gold nib and the "ink-stop" filler
mechanism and presented in a traditional
wood gift box from the Orient. The Emperor Collection
exceeds the demands of even the most discerning collector
and connoisseur.
