PA530: Parker 45 Flighter Fountain Pen and Ballpoint Set, boxed.

This lovely English flighter set is in excellent condition.   It is, as far as I can see, completely undamaged and hardly used.  The frosting on the steel barrels and caps is still nice and crisp, and there are no dings or scratches.  

Fountain Pen

The fountain pen has a black plastic barrel end, chromed clip and chromed clutch ring.  The section is in glossy, unmarked black plastic.  The 14 carat yellow gold nib is in a fine point and is also completely undamaged with a good sized blob of iridium still at the tip.  The barrel unscrews revealing the original Aerometric style converter.  Standard Parker ink cartridges can also be used.  The converter filler is also frosted and also completely undamaged.

Ballpoint

The ballpoint also has a chromed arrow pocket clip.  It is in similar excellent condition to the fountain pen.  It is fitted with a new black Parker ballpoint refill.  You can also fit these pens with parker gel refills if you prefer.

Box

The presentation case is also in very good condition - it has a little scuffing on the edges of the lid and the outside is slightly grubby in places, but it has no other damage.  It is one of the typically 1960s polka dot case.  Inside it is very clean and has a blue satin pad.  

I have fully serviced this set.  The pen fills easily and writes with a very smooth, wet and fine width line.

A beautiful, hardly used set.
