SH1007: Sheaffer Balanced No. 3

This very attractive glossy jet black Radite Junior-sized Balance is in excellent condition with no damage that I can see on it at all.  There are no splits, cracks or chips and no noticeable surface scratches either.  Both cap and barrel still have a nice original gloss.  The cap has a gold filled "flattened ball" Sheaffer's pocket clip and a single cap band.  They are both undamaged with no brassing.  The barrel imprint is clear and crisp.  The straight and plain filling lever is also gold filled and also undamaged.  The nib is a lovely shiny Sheaffer's No. 3 in an extra-fine point.

I have fully serviced this pen.  It fills easily and writes with a very smooth extra-fine line.  The nib is quite firm so the line is consistent with no noticeable width variation.
